Dr. Gerald Benson
A native of Albany, Georgia, Dr. Benson has practiced general dentistry for more than 30 years, all of that time working, here, in Savannah, Georgia. Upon completing his studies at Young Harris College, Gerald Benson attended the University of Tennessee’s College of Dentistry where he graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree.
In 1971, Dr. Benson relocated his family to Savannah to join Model Cities Health Center as a general dentist, and eventually established his first dental office at 15 East Jones Street, later moving to 65th Street, and finally to the current location on Paulsen Street.
Dr. Benson is respected by his patients who know he will provide optimal dentistry with a caring approach. He is an avid reader and crossword puzzlist, and will seldom be found without one or the other. For several days every year, Dr Benson continues his perpetual battle with local golf courses, hoping that he will one day graduate from the ranks of bad golfer.
